It was a rockin’ party for a good cause Oct. 25 at the 7th annual Noche de Gala at the Besilu Collection in Micanopy, Florida. Following the theme of “Noche de Gala Amped” the event attracted around 1,000 guests who enjoyed food, live music and a Champion Paso Fino horse show. Hosted by the Sebastian Ferrero Foundation, the yearly event supports the UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital.
The Sebastian Ferrero Foundation has pledged more than $7.5 million to support pediatric care. This year, UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital opened the Sebastian Ferrero Atrium and lobby, featuring interactive video displays to entertain children and parents, nature-themed art, a reception desk and elevators that travel solely to floors housing pediatric units.
